Commissioned Ranks (RAFAC)
Below are all of the Officer ranks you will come across in the RAFAC.
Within the running of a Squadron, it is likely that the highest rank will be Flight Lieutenant.
Squadron Leaders are usually Wing Staff, or Sector Commanders.
Wing Commander is likely to be in command of a Wing.
Group Captains are in command of a Region, and do not wear an 'RAF Air Cadets' on their rank slides, because they are Full Time Reservists (FTRS).
The only Air Commodore in the organisation, is the Commandant RAF Air Cadets
